“Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity”. 1 Tim. 4: 12

In today’s hectic society there are many voices attempting to influence a young person's life. Teens are constantly being bombarded with negative and even harmful messages. High school students face tremendous peer pressure to conform to the ways of the world, and many times they need support outside of the home in order to stand against the schemes of the enemy.

The youth group at La Purisima Concepcion Catholic Church offers a safe haven for young people to be strengthened and encouraged in their walk with God. Young people develop an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ through praise, prayer, ministry and bible study.

Requirements to Enroll

1. 14 years of age (or enrolled in 1st year of Confirmation class)
2. Complete the Inquiry Form

An inquiry form will be given in the first few gatherings

3. Attend weekend mass regularly
4. Attend regular scheduled gatherings
5. Give positive testimony to others
6. Complete VIRTUS training and fingerprints after their 18th birthday

Grupo de Jóvenes

En la agitada sociedad actual, hay muchas voces que intentan influir en la vida de un joven. Los adolescentes son constantemente bombardeados con mensajes negativos e incluso dañinos. Los estudiantes de secundaria enfrentan una tremenda presión de grupo para ajustarse a las formas del mundo, y muchas veces necesitan apoyo fuera del hogar para enfrentarse a los esquemas del enemigo.

El grupo juvenil de la Iglesia Católica La Purísima Concepción ofrece un refugio seguro para que los jóvenes sean fortalecidos y alentados en su caminar con Dios. Los jóvenes desarrollan una relación íntima con Jesucristo a través de la alabanza, la oración, el ministerio y el estudio de la Biblia.

Requisitos para Registrar

1. 14 años de edad (o inscrito en el primer año de la clase de confirmación)
2. Complete la Registración:

Se le dará un cuestionario en las primeras reuniones

3. Asista regularmente a misa de fin de semana
4. Asista a reuniones regulares programadas
5. Dé testimonio positivo a otras personas
6. Complete el entrenamiento VIRTUS y las huellas dactilares después de su 18 años
